Site Companion Side Kick (SCSK) is an offline-first mobile application developed by Saa Developments Inc. designed for construction site supervisors, foremen, and project managers.

We prioritize your privacy and are committed to transparency. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding your data. By using SCSK, you agree to the practices described here.

SCSK is designed to work primarily offline, with optional cloud sync for multi-device access.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information (Required for Sync)

If you enable cloud sync and create an account:

• Email address
• Display name (optional)
• Authentication tokens (securely managed via third-party services like Firebase Authentication)

This is used solely for account authentication and data synchronization across your devices.

2.2 User-Generated Content

All project data you create is owned by you:

• Projects, jobs, and folders
• Notes, checklists, timestamps
• Trade assignments and contact details (if entered)
• Attached documents and generated PDF reports

This data is stored locally on your device by default and only synced to the cloud if you enable sync.

2.3 Photos and Media

Photos taken or annotated within the app are stored locally on your device. If sync is enabled, they are securely uploaded to your private cloud storage.

We do not access, view, or process your photos beyond app functionality.

2.4 Location Data (Optional)

If you enable geofencing:

• Approximate or precise location may be used to associate jobs with sites or prompt you upon return.

Location access requires explicit permission and can be disabled anytime in device settings.

2.5 Microphone (Optional, for Voice Notes)

Voice-to-text features may temporarily process audio on-device or via secure third-party services. Audio is not stored unless you save a note.

2.6 No Other Collection

We do not collect analytics, crash reports, advertising IDs, or any unnecessary device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

• Provide core app features (projects, photos, reports, offline access)
• Sync data across your devices (if enabled)
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Local data remains on your device
• Cloud data (if synced) is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols
• We use trusted providers (e.g., Firebase) with strong security practices
• Access is limited to your authenticated account

No system is 100% secure, but we implement reasonable measures to protect your data.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share data only with:

• Service providers for authentication and storage (acting under strict instructions)
• Law enforcement if legally required

Shared PDF reports contain only information you choose to include.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data persists until you delete it in the app or uninstall.

Cloud data is retained as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion (via support request), all associated cloud data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

You can export or delete individual projects anytime.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access, export, or delete your data
• Revoke permissions (camera, location, microphone) in device settings
• Disable cloud sync
• Request account deletion
